Products for category 'Trad Goth'

Trad Goth short for Traditional Goth dates back to the 80s and evolved from the Punk Scene as bands such as Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy and others created a new Gothic Music genre. With the associated dark music style, fans and bands wore Black. And the Gothic Fashion style was born. The original Trad Goth scene came with a heavy Punk influence. Large Black Hair Styles, Dark Makeup with White or Pale flesh tones. Ripped Safety Pined Clothes, Fishnets and Boots.

The influence of these early Goths led to films like the Crow in 1994  which tells the story of Eric Draven played by Brandon Lee, which along with Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxsie and the Banshees and Robert Smith lead singer from The Cure probably best describe the modern interpretation of the the Trad Goth look and Fashion style.
